We were looking but couldn’t find Humpbacks close by!

The Humpbacks must have decided that conditions far from shore were more comfortable on Thursday morning, as our only sightings during the Signature Whale Watch Cruise were quite some distance from our boat.
We were able to make out one peduncle throw, and saw another Humpback breach — but that wasn’t good enough for us, so we called the cruise a “Fluke” and invited everyone to cruise again with us for FREE!

Ocean Sports Whale Fact of the Day: Though most of us on Whale Watch Cruises in Hawaii are here to see the Humpback Whales, according to our friends at Cascadia Research, there are actually 18 species of Odontocetes (toothed whales) and 7 species of Mysticetes (whales with baleen) that have been documented in Hawaiian waters
