We could hardly believe our eyes, when at 11:30, during our Wednesday morning Snorkel Adventure Cruise, we got to see our first Humpback Whale of the 2025/2026 season! According to Captain Will, our lone whale was in fairly shallow water about 1/4 mile offshore of the Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort. Captain Will reports the whale was fairly lazy, and guests aboard our cruise got to watch the Humpback for a good three minutes as he spouted several times before slipping below the surface and out of sight. Unbelievable! This is one of the earliest sightings we can ever remember from one of our boats.
